Circular Hiking Trail at Schlaubetal Natural Park

On a beautiful summer day of August 13, 2021, my friend and I decided to head to Schlaubetal for a nature getaway. Our starting point was the parking lot at the Treppelsee, from where our “green adventure” began.

We took the path to the northwest of the Great Treppelsee, passed an observation hut, and headed further north to Hammersee and Großer Schinkensee. We hiked along Langesee enjoying the wonderful lake landscape. At this point, we were already full of impressions while our stomachs felt empty. We headed south again to the forester’s house Siehdichum to take a little break and enjoy a nice meal. After lunch, we took the path further to the south again, to the eastern part of the Großer Treppelsee. It was already afternoon and our pedometers recorded 20 km. We headed back to the parking lot where we started from and this was the end of our pleasant trip. The circular hiking trail was a great choice for us. We enjoyed the silence and breathtaking landscapes. This hiking made us feel relaxed and energized, at the same time.

We are greatly delighted with our day trip to Schlaubetal Natural park and would recommend everybody to visit this place and rejoice in the beautiful shades of nature.
